It was a hot day at the Maryland Renaissance Fair and not only because it was 105 degrees plus humidity. Some of the heat emanated from the amazing acts, the cosplay, and the phenomenal pieces of craft on display like life-sized chain mail version of the Maryland state flag by Brian Galloway.
But mostly it was hot because of the readers. I had such a great time swapping stories and signing books even if I lost about seven pounds!
Thanks to Page After Page Books for the invite. Who’d have thought 15th Century literacy would be such a great hit for a vagabond author.
Thanks also to author TJ Perkins who made introductions. It was fun barding it up with her at the Ren Fair.
