Any one who knows me knows that the years I spent with Dave Goelz and the Muppets gang was my geek heaven period. I can talk about them as people or as artists for hours! Entertainment, for me, is more than just popcorn. It’s a tool that provides catharsis, excites thought or debate, and holds up a mirror to the best and worst in our culture. Here are some of my favorite stories with artists, actors, writers, and musicians.
While hosting the Prism and Cobblestones, we mostly focused on radio, but every so often we delved into video. The first selection below is an unabridged interview with Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche (famed voiceover artists of such cartoons as the Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Futurama, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.)
